(9 May 2024) Prof. Dr. Vo Xuan Vinh, who is ranked 8th among 47 Vietnamese people in the ‘top most influential scientists in the world’, is the author of an article that was just removed by an international magazine.
Prof. Dr. Vo Xuan Vinh is “Vietnam’s leading economic researcher”, one of four Vietnamese people in the “top 1% most cited in the world” by Clarivate, and also ranked 8th in the List of 47 Vietnamese people in the “top most influential scientists in the world” in the ranking of Professor John PA Ioannidis and colleagues at Stanford University (USA).
Springer Publishing House removed the above scientific article because the investigation results showed that this article was in a group of articles with many problems: the peer review process was manipulated; citing inappropriate or irrelevant references; contains many non-standard phrases. In addition, the article content is not within the scope and topic of the magazine.
