(11 January 2017) The new Lending Rights Online (LRO) portal opened in Australia on 9 January, making it faster and easier to register, make and track claims online, including:
- auto filling book information when you submit a title claim, once the ISBN for the book is validated, and
- displaying processing or completed status of submitted claims.
If you were registered for the previous system, you should have received an email invitation to access the new portal on 9 January 2017. The invitation has instructions on how to access the portal – make sure to check your spam or junk folder of your email if you cannot find it.
All existing claims information will be available in the new portal so there’s no need to resubmit for previously claimed books. These claims will continue to be processed through the new system.
