(13 January 2014) From the end of January 2014 the team from FutureLearn, the UK’s first provider of massive open online courses (MOOCs), will be taking up residency in the British Library as part of a commercial leasing agreement.
Separately from the leasing agreement, the British Library is working with FutureLearn to develop ideas for free online courses or ‘Moocs’ with a university partner or independently, after becoming the first non-university partner to join the online learning platform in February this year.
