As the Curator, Prints, you will work with a team of specialist curators, collection managers, and engagement professionals to oversee the development, housing, preservation, safe handling, and provision of access to the rare and valuable materials that are held in the University’s Prints Collection.
Drawing on specialist subject knowledge, you’ll offer guidance to staff, students, and researchers. Your role will be to enhance the visibility, educational value, and curation of the collection. By actively contributing to an inventive and comprehensive program, you’ll work towards optimising access, engagement, and promotion strategies.
We are seeking an experienced curator with significant knowledge of art history. You have a background in the development and delivery of exhibitions, access programs, and interpretive materials for diverse audiences, in particular students in an academic setting. You are able to utilise your strong communication skills to work collaboratively across a multifaceted organisation with a wide range of stakeholders.
