About the role
The Senior Archivist, Digital Systems will be a specialist in archival systems and digital archiving, working under the broad direction of the Deputy University Archivist. You will have a strong understanding and knowledge of archival theory and practice as demonstrated through experience performing archival appraisal, arrangement, description, and preservation.
You will also have experience and knowledge of collection management and/or archival systems and request management systems which support collection management and online access to archival data in both digitised and born-digital forms. In this role you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders and supervise the Digital Archivist with oversight of developing a born-digital archives service for archival collections and University records.
