(24 August 2014) The post is fixed-term for two years, with the possibility of renewal. The appointee will (i) facilitate and monitor the library’s programmes to support the University’s research activities; (ii) work collaboratively with Head, Digital Strategies and Technical Services, and other library colleagues in developing, managing and marketing the university data archive; (iii) provide advice, training and consultation services for researchers on data management issues; (iv) represent the Libraries to liaise with other data archives; (v) provide information services through various channels including staffing the information counter, conducting research consultations, replying to enquiries received in person, over telephone, emails and other electronic means; and (vi) perform other professional activities, such as guiding library tours, and participating in library-wide special projects and committees.
