(21 December 2013) On 29 August, a press conference for the launch of the National Animation Public Material Library was held in Tianjin Binghai International Convention Center.
The National Animation Public Material Library is a multifunctional national material resource sharing platform, hosted by the Inter-Ministerial Joint Office for the Growth of the Animation Industry and sponsored by the National Library of China (NLC). The animation practitioners, animation students and animation fans can visit this material library though the website http://www.dmsck.org/. The material library starts from collecting and producing fine material resources, taking uploading contribution as the core, and encourages enterprises or individuals to register and upload material resources to obtain the corresponding downloading rights in order to build a sustainable material sharing center and improve the industry-wide material reuse rate and promote the healthy rapid development of animation industry.
