(28 January 2013) Win one of 10 grants of USD500 for the best promotional plans with two special prizes of USD500 available for the applicants showing the greatest increase in usage.
Many libraries and consortia are involved in marketing and promotion of their electronic resources as a regular activity. This can be done in a number of ways including: web pages; posters; leaflets; displays; and training. The Electronic Resource Promotion Competition provides a showcase for these activities, enabling these achievements to be shared and celebrated. This competition invites librarians and consortia to outline their marketing and promotion plans for the year and enter to win one of 10 small grants to use towards the implementation of their plans. This will not replace the standard budget allocated by libraries and consortia to these activities but is intended to allow flexibility in extending the activities.
For more information and application guidelines, visit the electronic resource promotion competition page. Application deadline is 28th June 2013.
