(1 October 2015) The new Times Higher Education World University Rankings, using Elsevier data, were released today (30 September 2015.) Cal Tech remains number one in the world and National University of Singapore is first in Asia and 26th in the world, using the new world methodology.
Two weeks ago, we announced the release of the new QS rankings for 2015-2016, which have always used Elsevier data. See Ruth’s Rankings 5 for background on the QS and THE rankings.
US News releases its Best Global Universities Rankings on October 6th and National Taiwan University’s Ranking of Scientific Papers follows close behind on October 10th.
With all of these updated rankings within a month, I will put off citation until year’s end to analyze the changes, if any, in rankings and methodology for Ruth’s Rankings 15 for publication later in October.
