(29 May 2019) Changes are coming for Publisher Promotion & Fulfillment (PPF). The fulfillment side of the company has been acquired by Turpin Distribution Services, Ltd, an international, UK-based provider of publisher services. Turpin has a long-standing, established client services team based in New Milford, Connecticut.
Promotional and marketing services will continue to be offered by EBSCO Promotional Services, operating out of the EBSCO offices in Birmingham, Alabama. The new company will continue to leverage EBSCO’s history of working with publishers and utilize data insights to provide enhanced marketing services and support to publisher partners.
EBSCO Senior Vice President, Publisher Partnerships, Sid McNeal says the transition enables EBSCO Promotional Services to place a greater focus on promotional services offered to publishers. “Turpin is a trusted partner in the publisher industry, and we are confident in their ability to provide the highest level of fulfillment services. We remain committed to supporting our publisher partners; this change in services will help us focus on creating new and innovative opportunities to further serve the marketing needs of our publishers.”
Turpin’s Managing Director, Lorna Summers, says: “Turpin is delighted to have acquired Publisher Promotion & Fulfillment (PPF) from EBSCO, as this will enhance the depth and range of fulfillment services we currently provide to U.S. client publishers from our offices in New Milford, Connecticut. I am excited about the opportunities presented by this development and look forward to working with our new publisher clients towards a seamless transition of core services from PPF to Turpin.”
