(23 June 2015, Beijing, China) Ex Libris® Group, a leading provider of library automation solutions, is pleased to announce that the metadata of eJournals, dissertations, conference papers, and gazetteers hosted by Wanfang Data will be indexed in the Ex Libris Primo Central Index of scholarly electronic resources. As a result, this extensive content from Wanfang Data will be easily discoverable via the Ex Libris Primo® discovery service.
The collections to be covered by Primo Central are among the most important resources provided by Wanfang Data. China Local Gazetteers contains about 27,000 gazetteers that were published after 1949 and offers geographical and historical information from regions throughout China; China Online Journals includes more than 7,800 online Chinese journals in numerous disciplines; Dissertations of China is a comprehensive collection of dissertations and master’s theses from 1980 onward; and the Academic Conferences in China database offers abstracts and full-text papers presented at conferences in China since the mid-1980s.
