(22 February 2016) A leaked email from the National Library’s director-general projects 22 jobs will be axed next financial year, with more in the future, as a result of funding cuts.
Earlier this month it was revealed a number of national cultural institutions were looking at reducing staff numbers as they face $20 million in cuts from the Federal Government’s efficiency dividend.
The library is the first institution to release an official number of jobs to be cut from its 415 full-time staff.
ABC has the story.
