(14 December 2016, Kuala Lumpur) The country is expected to generate RM44.4 million ringgit from the 84th International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) World Library and Information Congress (WLIC).
The winning bid for the congress was led by the Librarians Association of Malaysia (PPM) and National Library of Malaysia (PNM) with support from MyCEB, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
