Karisddappa (Eds) addresses the different issues and challenges that face LIS education in the various regions of the developing world, but also the commonalities that link them. It highlights the successful ways in which problems may be met as well as those which have proved less effective, and suggests a road map for the ways forward.
Drawing upon IFLA’s unique global reach, it contains contributions from Africa, southern and eastern Asia and South America and puts particular emphasis on the benefits of international and cross-border collaboration.
