The University of Technology Sydney, has summarized the results of its library survey undertaken in September 2012. Results are based on more than 2,400 responses. If you think that books are so yesterday, the largest number of comments related to those 630,000 books on library shelves, increasing by 20,000 each year. Finding the books you want, stocking multiple copies of in-demand titles, provision of more peaceful study areas, more desks and more space were popular requests. More online resources, more computers, better wifi and an improved library website were also singled out as needing attention. The survey is discussed here with a link to the survey results summary: http://www.lib.uts.edu.au/news/25126/library-survey-results.
