(31 May 2024) The Library now seeks an enthusiastic, communicative, and organised individual to join its Digital Initiatives and Research Cluster (DIR). The successful candidate will be a proactive champion of the Library’s leading role in supporting digital scholarship. They will:
- Lead a small team comprising of programmers, database administrators, and visual designers to develop digital scholarship projects with faculty collaborators;
- Effectively communicate with faculty collaborators to align project expectations, progress, and post-production promotions, and also be responsible for project management;
- Administer the annual Digital Scholarship Grant and organise an annual digital scholarship conference;
- Oversee the Library’s research data services by assessing latest research data tools, organising data tool workshops, and developing online self-learning materials;
- Provide technical and data advice or support for other areas of the cluster including research data services and digitisation projects; and
- Participate in any other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
