The role is responsible for the Library’s processes of acquisition, access, integration and deselection of scholarly works and digital content to support the Research, Learning and Teaching activities of the University. The successful incumbent will promote ideas and review practices and policies and support the delivery of Library services.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Leading and managing a team of Library professionals, including induction and training in the processes of procurement and management of scholarly information resources.
- Contributing to the management of the financial and physical resources.
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining effective working relationships with vendors, publishers and agents’ representatives.
