(16 January 2015) An electronic library will be built with Korea’s assistance at the People’s Police Academy (PPA) in the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi.
An explanatory session to launch the eLibrary was held on 12 January at the PPA. Over 100 officials from both Korea and Vietnam, including Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Public Security Dang Van Hieu, attended the session.
The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) plans to spend a total of USD 2.3 million by 2016 to build an eLibrary at the PPA and share with the organization its operating knowhow. The library will open in 2016.
