(12 September 2015) The Associate University Librarian, Library Learning & Experience, is a senior leadership role within the University Library. As a member of the Library Executive, the role actively contributes to strategic planning and decision making whilst leading and developing the Library Learning & Experience teams.
The role provides strategic and operational leadership in the development, management and delivery of sustainable, world-class services to students, staff and other stakeholders wherever they may be located. Key challenges include ensuring that Library services are relevant and meet the current and future learning, teaching and research needs of students and staff at the University, and maintaining and developing the appropriate staff skillsets in order to build and deliver services effectively and efficiently.
