(21 January 2014) Duke University Press and HighWire Press are pleased to announce the launch of a new site for reading, searching, and sharing Duke University Press’s books: read.dukeupress.edu. Offering more than 1,600 titles and powered by the Folio eBooks solution, the site is the new home for the e-Duke Books Scholarly Collection, available to libraries for purchase.
Features of the new Drupal-based site developed by HighWire include responsive design, tailoring the attractive and functional interface to any device; DRM-free content; individual chapter downloads; and such tools as advanced search filters, social sharing, and reading recommendations, all of which deliver a rich, user-friendly reading and research experience.
