Global award of US$25k to identify and recognize innovative research utilizing citation data
(4 June 2018, Philadelphia) Clarivate Analytics, the global leader in providing trusted insights and analytics to enable researchers to accelerate discovery, invites researchers to apply for the Eugene Garfield Award for Innovation in Citation Analysis. Launched in 2017, in memory of Dr. Garfield and his pioneering work in scientometrics, this international award will recognize researchers at any stage of their career developing an innovative approach in citation analysis that improves the impact of how scientific research is evaluated.
The winner will be awarded US$25k and Clarivate Analytics will provide the successful applicant with support and complimentary access to Web of Science data. The awardee will also be invited to give a research presentation at the 23rd Science and Technology Indicators Conference in Leiden, Netherlands and to meet and collaborate with the team at Clarivate’s prestigious Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), founded by Dr. Garfield.
