(26 March 2015) Global academic publisher, CABI, today announced its bibliographic platform CAB Direct has reached the milestone of 11 million records. CABI’s in-house platform, CAB Direct, hosts CAB Abstracts the leading English language bibliographic database covering the applied life sciences.
Updated weekly, CAB Direct now offers over 11 million records dating back more than 100 years provide up to date research as well as historical data for a fully inclusive resource for international scientific research.

CABI’s long standing platform, CAB Direct, receives over 4.4 million users from around the world each year looking for research and information on agriculture and the applied life sciences. Since its launch over 10 years ago CAB Direct has been used by millions of international researchers and is now part of CABI’s continuing development strategy with plans of a re-launch with improved usability and functionality in 2017.
