(22 Mar 2024) While libraries are relatively easy to come by, reading materials for Australians who are blind or vision impaired aren’t as commonly found.
The library at Brisbane’s Braille house is the largest in the country and is celebrating its 125th birthday.
But despite its age the library received its first bout of government funding last year in the form of a one off grant, and staff are calling out for more.
