(4 April 2017) Professor Ni Win Zaw, Head of the Department of Library and Information Studies at University of Yangon, recently visited ANU Library to work on a digitisation research project with University Librarian Roxanne Missingham.
The project aims to provide a framework for transforming library services and increase digital literacy skills through library and information science education, which will benefit the Myanmar academic community. As part of the project scope, a digitisation facility will be established in Myanmar, forming part of the educational experience and providing digitisation services to the university community, including open access to heritage and research collections.
