(28 January 2014) Annual Reviews has a new journal. The Annual Review of Statistics and Its Application will publish critical reviews about developments in the field of statistics and is edited by Stephen E. Fienberg, the Maurice Falk University Professor of Statistics and Social Science in the Department of Statistics, the Machine Learning Department, Heinz College, and Cylab at Carnegie Mellon University. With statistical methods and tools important to any study or field that involves quantitative data and reasoning—from biostatistics, bioinformatics, economics, and machine learning to psychology, sociology, and aspects of the physical sciences—the journal will provide broad analysis of major methodological advances and computational devices not only for statisticians and quantitative methodologists, but for all scientists and users of statistics.
