(9 Nov 2023) The Publications Division of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the National Science and Technology Council’s (NSTC) Natural Science Library Service Project: Chemistry Division are pleased to announce a new “read and publish” agreement supporting open access publishing at a consortium of 25 academic institutions for 2024-26, the first of its kind in Taiwan, and the first for ACS Publications in the Asia-Pacific region.
The new read and publish agreement is sponsored by the NSTC in Taiwan and provides support for authors at consortium-member institutions to publish their research open access in any ACS Publications journal. The supporting investment from the NSTC was essential to the development of this groundbreaking agreement, which will increase the volume of trusted, peer-reviewed research from Taiwan that is openly available for the world to read and cite.
