Hosted by the Joint University Librarians Advisory Committee (JULAC), the Association of College & Research Library (ACRL)’s Information Literacy Immersion Program will be held 3-7 June 2013 at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The Program provides instruction librarians with the opportunity to work intensively on all aspects of information literacy.
The Teacher Track focuses on individual development for those who are interested in developing their individual instruction skills. The curriculum includes classroom techniques, learning theory, leadership, and assessment framed in the context of information literacy.
The Program Track focuses on developing and managing information literacy programs. Participants selected for the Program Track will develop individual case studies in advance of the immersion program.
