The Client Services Manager is responsible for leading a holistic approach to development and delivery of services across the University’s online and campus based library services, ensuring appropriate frontline and online support for the research, learning and teaching needs of the University’s scholarly community.
The Client Services Manager works closely with the Associate Director, Library – Campus Services and Infrastructure, and has direct responsibility for the Precinct Librarians and Lending Services Librarian. They provide high level management advice and recommendation on all aspects of Client Service policies, procedures and operations as they impact on Client Services and the broader Library and University community.
As part of the senior Library Leadership Group, they set, monitor, review and evolve Library wide procedures, processes and engagement program creation and delivery to meet the articulated strategic requirements of the Library and its operations. This position is responsible for the standardized implementation of policies and services for Client Services and ensures a consistent, high quality approach to Library service delivery within the university physical campus libraries and online services.
