(25 July 2018) This discussion paper identifies the major library policies, systems and staff activities that will be affected by changes to the copyright duration provisions of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), due to come into effect on 1 January 2019.
It focuses on the changes to copyright term for literary, artistic, dramatic and musical works and subject matter other than works (films and sound recordings), produced by government and non-government creators, both with known and unknown creators.
