(10 December 2013, Blacksburg, VA) VTLS has added eBook lending from 3M Cloud Library into the new versions of both Chamo Discovery and the MozGo Mobile App. Patrons can search through the library’s collection of 3M eBooks, check them out or place holds, download them to their devices and check the status of their eBooks all within the Chamo and MozGo interfaces. Including circulation makes the integration more seamless, allowing patrons to stay within a single interface and eliminating the need for multiple user authorization steps.

Providing the ability for patrons to conveniently borrow eBooks has now become an essential component of library services. Chamo Discovery from VTLS is an advanced social OPAC and discovery interface that allows searching within the Virtua ILS as well as external data sources using both harvesting and federated searching capabilities.
