(17 November 2017) The University Librarian provides visionary leadership and management of the University’s Library Services and is responsible for: developing, implementing and articulating the Library’s vision and strategic plan; delivering high quality services that contribute to the achievement of the University’s strategic priorities; building visibility and communicating the Library’s impact and value; managing the allocation of the Library’s financial, physical and human resources; fostering a strong performance-based organisational culture; providing advice through participation in high-level committees; and representing the Library and the University in local, national and international forums.
