(15 May 2025) The Senior Manager, Information Access (GIPA Act) ensures ongoing compliance and continuous improvement of the University’s information access responsibilities under the Government Information (Public Access) Act and other relevant information access obligations. The role is responsible for leading day-to-day operations across the Information Access Team in the University’s Archives and Records Management Services area.
This role will maintain University-wide compliance with freedom of information requirements and provide high-level expert advice on compliance and information access.
They coordinate support all University information access requests, support the implementation of strategies to improve the University’s information access maturity, including developing strategies for increasing proactive disclosure and mandatory disclosure compliance and maintaining adherence to all mandatory GIPA Act reporting.
The Senior Manager, Information Access is a key relationship manager within the University community and works with business partners across the organisation to respond to often complex and sensitive information access requests in alignment with strict legislative timeframes.
