(12 June 2015) The University of Hawai‘i at Manoa Library seeks an innovative, collaborative, and service-oriented librarian. Under the general direction of the Head of the Asia Department, the Librarian for Philippine Studies will work collaboratively to lead in collection development and management of all materials in all formats related to Philippine studies, provide research assistance, and library instruction. In addition, the librarian will liaise with the Center for Philippine Studies (CPS) to initiate national and international resource sharing collaborations, symposia, rare materials preservation, restoration and digitization, web site development, and fundraising and outreach with the Filipino community.
