(5 Feb 2025) Invitation from Mrs Lee Cheng Ean, Advisor and Head of Global Relations, NUS Libraries:
I would like to take the opportunity to share a newly launched programme from NUS Libraries, Transforming University Libraries: Library Leadership & Innovation Programme (TULLIP), from 30 June to 4 July 2025. We conducted a successful inaugural run in January 2025, and I believe this would be of keen interest to many of you and your colleagues and librarians. The programme is designed to reimagine libraries of the future through experiential learning beyond the classroom. We would be thrilled to have you and your colleagues participate and take advantage of this exciting opportunity. You may find more details below, for your reference and sharing
TULLIP aims to bridge the gap between library professionals in ASEAN and beyond. This program is designed to empower library professionals with essential leadership skills and innovative approaches to managing modern libraries in a rapidly evolving academic environment. I believe this would be an excellent opportunity for emerging leaders and forward-thinking staff to take a significant step in their professional development.
Key Programme Highlights
- Day 1: Leading transformational change for libraries in today’s information landscape
- Day 2: AI, digital transformation and innovation in a leading academic library
- Day 3: Library partnerships and success stories for education and research
- Day 4: Library as a living lab: collections, infrastructure and placemaking
- Day 5: Problem solving, transformational learning and overcoming barriers to change through real-world case studies
