Booknet Canada, a non-profit organization that develops technology, standards, and education to serve the Canadian book industry intends to find out with the help of LibraryData, Canadian library collection and circulation analysis tool. Data was gathered on the library circulation of 20 backlist titles and series that have trended on #BookTok since 2020.
It turns out that the library loans of these trending titles and series increased by 561%, and the number of holds increases by 1,430%.
