We are seeking a candidate for a role that involves contributing to and delivering, under general direction, a responsive, innovative, and user-focused information service to staff and students at Swinburne University of Technology. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the teaching, learning, and research programs at the university. The successful candidate will work within a liaison team to provide information services for specific areas of the University, such as Schools and/or Departments, as well as other designated areas.
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Substantial experience in the provision of liaison or information management services in an academic library
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as an effective team member
- Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative services, seek new challenges and adapt in a changing academic and information environment
- An understanding of contemporary teaching, learning and research issues in VET and academic environments
