(10 March 2014) As part of the various programs in celebration of the Public Library Day which will lead to the grand celebration during the 1st International Conference of Public Librarians in Cebu City on 19-21 March, the National Library of the Philippines (NLP) in cooperation with Redfox Technologies Philippines, Inc. and the Rotary Club of Manila will have the soft launching of the Prototype Digital Library Services on 10 March.
The highlight of the activity will be the turn-over of the donated technologies followed by the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between NLP, RedFox and Rotary.
The objective of this initiative is to develop a modern, efficient, and effective library service using available technologies.
