As Senior Archivist, Collection Management, you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of services in support of legislative requirements, internal policies, and RMITs cultural and historical legacy. You will manage donations and transfers of records to RMIT University Archives and coordinate the Annual Disposal program.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- High degree of technical skills and archival systems knowledge, and strong skills in manipulating and managing data.
- Excellent understanding of current and emerging practices in archives, digitisation and digital preservation.
- Demonstrated record of innovation and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including critical analysis and evaluation.
- Proven record of adopting a flexible approach to work and adapting to a constantly changing work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and lead through positive influence.
- Project management skills and experience.
