(31 Mar 2023) A few collections are added to the Library of Congress’ digital collections, including:
- Africana Historic Postcard Collection: 1,200 postcards documenting representations of African life from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
- Gisella Selden-Goth collection: Musicologist and collector Gisella Selden-Goth’s holograph manuscripts collection, personal Autographen album and a chronological register of her manuscript acquisitions dating from 1912 to 1939.
- Mangyan bamboo collection from Mindoro, Philippines, circa 1900-1939: 71 bamboo slats and 6 cylinders from the island of Mindoro in the Philippines, etching in Mangyan script, an Indic-derived writing system that pre-dates the arrival of the Spaniards in the Philippines.
