(5 January 2015) The Asia-Pacific Library and Information Education and Practice (A-LIEP) Conference will be held in the Philippines from October 21 to 23, 2015. Details on the venue, registration and other concerns will be announced at a later date.
The theme for this year’s conference is: Asia-Pacific LIS: Exploring Unity and Diversity.
The aim of the conference is to bring together speakers and participants to discuss and learn about the different and common practices in LIS education and profession from all over Asia and the Pacific.
The organizer invites paper and poster presenters to the conference. Topics can range from global and regional practices in LIS education and the profession; trends in research in LIS; developments in LIS services; management concerns and practices of libraries and information centers; cooperation among libraries and information centers, resource sharing; internationalization of LIS and many more. Submission of full papers and entries for posters will be on 30 May 2015. Submission details will be disseminated in the coming months.
