(1 Nov 2019) Ruhr University Bochum (RUB), known as one of the largest and leading universities in Germany, has signed an agreement with the Philippine government for the creation of a Philippine studies program and the promotion of Philippine culture.
According to the Philippine Consulate in Frankfurt, the agreement involves the donation of approximately EUR83,000 to support academic and research activities on Philippine matters, and the creation of a center that would serve as a hub for Philippine-related projects.
