(16 Jul 2026) ORCID and the CSTR Identification Platform, based in Beijing, China, are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership aimed at strengthening the adoption of persistent identifiers (PIDs) throughout the research data lifecycle and enhancing the visibility of research systems globally.
ORCID and CSTR share a common goal to improve the transparency and reliability of research information. Under a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), both organizations will collaborate to promote the interoperability of ORCID identifiers and CSTR identification system, focusing particularly on research infrastructures user communities.
