(7 September 2016) OASPA, the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association has announce that membership has reached the 100 mark.
OASPA continues to receive much interest and support from organisations wanting to join as members and is growing steadily as a result. Its membership includes a wide range of individual academic-led titles, small, medium and large sized professional open access publishers with a variety of innovative open access publishing models, and supporting organisations that provide related services.
Recent new members of OASPA include: The British Editorial Society of Bone and Joint Surgery, a small subject-specific publisher; Ingenta Connect, a content distribution service for publishers; VU University Library Amsterdam, which hosts three open access journals; and SciELO, a cooperative platform for digital publishing of scientific journals with national focal points in 15 countries.
