(3 November 2017) The Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) is celebrating its 25th anniversary today with an alumni reunion to mark the successes of its over 6,000-strong alumni and recognise the contributions of its donors and industry partners.
At the event at the National Gallery’s Supreme Court Terrace, the WKWSCI Impact and WKWSCI Emerging Star awards will be launched to recognise the achievements of its alumni.
In addition, the school’s first Alumni Advisory Board will be unveiled, comprising professionals in various fields, from news and the creative sector to healthcare and technology.
Established in 1992, the school has grown in stature to rank among Asia’s top communication and media schools today, and the world’s top 14 according to Quacquarelli Symonds.
Singapore’s only full-fledged communication school, it offers an undergraduate programme in communication studies covering journalism, broadcasting, public relations, advertising and communication research, in addition to graduate programmes in communication studies, information studies and systems as well as knowledge management.
