READ Global has also opened three new centres in Bhutan and India. In Yangthang village, Bhutan, the centre will provide access to books, computers and training to more than 3,200 villagers. More here.
Embarking on a new partnership that will inspire economic prosperity for generations to come, READ Bhutan is the proud recipient of a generous grant from the Australian government’s Direct Aid program.
The $21,575 AUD (approximately $15,500 USD) grant will go directly to READ Bhutan’s skill enhancement training program for women, which will train 90 women from three districts in tailoring and product design.
