(5 Jan 2024) The Tribhuvan University Central Library has been upgraded as the country’s first library equipped with radio frequency identification (RFID) system.
Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud and External Affairs Minister of India, S Jaishankar, jointly inaugurated the newly constructed building for the RFID-equipped central library on the premises of TU amidst a function here today.
With the application of IFRD system, the records of books distributed and returned shall be maintained in an automated way.
