(29 October 2014) In an effort to expand its adopted new role, which is to identify, organize and publicize the universe of digital resources about the Philippines and other scholarly content, the NLP soft launched its flagship DLS facility on 10 March 2014.
This project was made possible through partnership with Redfox Technologies Philippines, Inc. and Rotary Club of Manila Metro R.I. District 3810 who aimed at providing assistance to underprivileged sectors in the country.
The DLS Hub features two multi-user workstations donated by Redfox Technologies Philippines, Inc. and Rotary Club of Manila Metro R.I. District 3810 that will give access to the NLP eBooks and multimedia resources. The working station allows the library users to search, read, compose and communicate. They also provided 20 Redfox Wizlib eBook readers which will store the “most read” Filipiniana and foreign books that are available in digital format.
