(20 May 2014) The National Library of New Zealand and Alexander Turnbull Library have agreed a new policy on use and reuse of collection items. Use and reuse of documentary heritage and tāonga is a contested issue. There are a range of issues concerning what libraries and archives should or shouldn’t let happen to the collections they manage.
