(28 June 2013) In Business Next’s 2013 Enterprise Survey of Digital Service Standards, the National Central Library was the only library in Taiwan recognized. Results from the online voting and selection showed NCL was rated 2nd in the government digital service website category. NCL’s websites “are designed to serve the public by meeting users needs through browser lists.” Clearly, NCL’s digital services are a model for libraries in Taiwan in showing what a true “digital library” can be.
