(9 June 2014, Adelaide, Australia, and Christchurch, New Zealand) Ex Libris® Group and Lincoln University are pleased to announce that the University has opted for the Ex Libris Alma library management service and the Primo® discovery and delivery solution. Deployed in the cloud, Alma and Primo will provide the University’s students and academic staff with access to leading scholarship from global and national sources and will facilitate the discovery of the considerable intellectual capital that the University produces through research and teaching activities. The automated Alma workflows will streamline library operations relating to all materials and collections, enabling library staff to dedicate more time to providing services to faculty and students.
In addition, Ex Libris and Lincoln University will work with national institutions in New Zealand to address some of the issues involved in managing, curating, and providing long-term access to the data that underpins the University’s research activities.
